MyPlate is a diet and fitness tracking and management tool available at the health and fitness website LIVESTRONG.COM. Through The Daily Plate, you are able to track your daily calories using the site's extensive food database. This tool can help to keep you on track as you progress toward your nutrition and fitness goals. A basic Daily Plate membership is free with required registration. However, if you want to utilize additional features, such as tracking vitamins and minerals, you must upgrade to a Gold membership.

Step 1

Register for The Daily Plate at LIVESTRONG.COM by creating a profile. Enter your name, email, gender, zip code, username and password.

Step 2

Upgrade your membership to Gold. Six- and 12-month memberships are available for a monthly fee. Pay with PayPal, or a credit or debit card.

Step 3

Enter your age, height, current weight and weight loss goals.

Step 4

Record all of your meals and snacks by entering the exact food that you ate, how much you ate and the time that the food was consumed.

Step 5

Generate a "nutrition label" after entering the food that you consumed into The Daily Plate. The nutrition label looks like those on food packaging and will include a personalized account of the vitamins and minerals that you have consumed.
