Socialization
Exercising with a group gives you a social experience that makes exercise more interesting than solo fitness pursuits. The group activity creates a sense of kinship because you are all going through the same thing. The fact that you all chose to participate in the same physical activity gives you something in common. This may serve as the foundation for long-lasting friendships or a stronger bond with people you already know going into the group exercise situation.
Commitment
