Several forms of Hydroxycut exist, including Hydroxycut Advanced 99 Percent Caffeine-Free. There are several contraindications, or conditions under which Hydroxycut Advanced should not be used due to its potential side effects. Consult your physician before using Hydroxycut to make sure you are healthy enough to use the supplement for its intended purposes.
Liver Disease
If you suffer from any type of liver condition or have a liver disease that affects the normal functioning of your liver, caffeine-free Hydroxyut should be avoided. According to a study published in the "World Journal of Gastroenterology," Hydroxycut supplementation increases liver hepatoxicity, involving chemically-driven liver damage that may result in elevations of liver enzymes indicating liver damage, hepititis, cholestasis and vascular lesions.
Heart Disease
If you have heart disease or suffer from atherosclerosis or high blood pressure, caution should be utilized when taking caffeine-free Hydroxycut. Caffeine-free Hydroxycut contains central nervous system stimulants other than caffeine that cause an increase in blood pressure, core body temperature, heart rate and thermogenesis, or heat production. Some individuals with fruit or plant allergies may also experience an allergic reaction to acerola extract.
