Regardless of the size and shape, the snowboard comes equipped with two specialized bindings. Most bindings feature an adjustable toe and ankle strap that fit around your snowboarding boots. The deck of the snowboard features a series of bolt mounting holes that allow you to adjust the position of the bindings. Bindings positioned over the centermost mounting holes offer increased board control and better turning capabilities. A centered riding stance enables you to keep your body weight evenly distributed across the snowboard deck.
Step 1
Lower your snowboard onto a flat worktable to begin the binding adjustment process. Lift the binding release mechanisms to loosen the toe and ankle straps. Insert the screwdriver into the mounting bolts located in the base plate of your lead binding.
Step 2
Rotate the screwdriver counterclockwise to loosen the mounting bolts. Remove the circular base plate from the foot bed of the binding. Align your lead binding over the centermost mounting holes located near the front of the snowboard.
Step 3
Turn your lead binding to the desired angle to ensure a comfortable snowboarding stance. Lower the circular base plate into the foot bed of the binding. Insert the bolts through the top of the base plate and into the mounting holes.
Step 4
Tighten the mounting bolts to secure your lead binding in the centered position. Loosen the mounting bolts of your rear binding and remove the base plate. Align your rear binding over the centermost mounting holes located towards the back of the snowboard.
Step 5
Adjust the angle of your rear binding if necessary. Install the circular base plate into the foot bed of the binding. Tighten the mounting bolts to fasten your rear binding in the centered position.
