They can cause unwanted weight gain and affect serious diseases, such as diabetes. If you want to curb your sugar craving, it will take discipline, but it will be worth it for your well-being.

Remove unhealthy sweets from the house. If your house is full of sweets, you will be more likely to crave them. Fill your house with healthy snacks, such as natural peanut butter and yogurt.

Use natural sweeteners, such as honey, maple syrup or agave syrup. These ingredients can replace sugar in some of your favorite dishes.

Eat lots of fruit. Try bananas, apples, and grapes. These are naturally sweet and healthy snacks that can help satisfy your sweet tooth.

Find ways to relax. When stressed, you're more likely to crave sugar. Relaxation will also help keep your mind off of sugary treats. Try reading a book, watching a movie, or going for a walk.
