How to Reset the Calories Burned on the New Balance N2

The New Balance N2 is a heart rate monitor with a wireless chest transmitter. The wrist monitor includes basic watch functions, including time, day, date and month. While you are working out, the New Balance N2 tracks your heart rate and approximate calories burned.To activate the calorie counter, you have to start the chronograph. When you stop the chronograph, the calorie counter stops and when you reset the chronograph, it resets the calories.

Step 1

Press the "Mode" button until the chronograph displays on the screen.

Step 2

Press the "ST/SP" button to stop the chronograph if it is running.

Step 3

Press and hold the "Set" button to reset the chronograph. This resets your calorie count also.

Tips and Warnings

  • Before you reset the calorie information, view the approximate calories you burned at the end of your workout by pressing the "Heart/KCAL" button two times.
