Vaginal odor is embarrassing for any woman. Whether it is due to poor hygiene, sexual intercourse or menstruation, your goal is to eliminate the odor and feel fresh again. This is where RepHresh comes into the picture. This is a product that restores your vaginal pH to its normal level of 3.8 to 4.5; these levels are considered the most acidic and are therefore able to fight the bacteria causing your odor. RepHresh is easy to use, and, according to its manufacturer, is recommended for use by gynecologists.

Step 1

Open the package. Each box of RepHresh contains four tubes of gel. Remove one tube from the box, carefully removing the wrapper it's contained in.

Step 2

Hold the tube by its removable tab. Grip the end of the twist-off tab and, with the tube pointing downward, shake it as if you are shaking a thermometer down. This ensures that all the gel is in the tube.

Step 3

Find a comfortable position. You can either lie down on your back or sit on the commode. If you use tampons during your time of menstruation, choose the position you normally use to insert your tampon. Inserting the tube of RepHresh gel is similar to this action.

Step 4

Remove the tab. Hold the tube straight up and down so the tab is at the top. Gripping the tab, turn gently to remove it.

Step 5

Insert the tube. With your knees bent, slowly insert the tube of RepHresh as far into your vagina as it will go. Proceed by squeezing the large end of the tube to release the gel into your vagina. These tubes are designed to release a specific amount of gel; do not worry if a small amount of gel remains in the tube once you are finished.

Step 6

To discard of the tube properly, place the empty tube into the wrapper you removed it from initially and then throw the wrapper in the garbage.

Step 7

Make a notation on your calendar each time you use RepHresh. This will help you remember when you are due to use it again. It is safe to use RepHresh every three days, and it can be used before or after intercourse, after douching and after your menstrual cycle is finished.
