Firm, shapely breasts are considered beautiful in the Western world, but this may leave aging women with a sense of disappointment as the dreaded sagging begins. It's natural for breast tissue to lose its elasticity and firmness due to aging, childbirth and breast feeding. Most women in their late 30s and upwards experience some form of breast sagging. Though keeping breasts firm as you age is a battle against gravity, it is not impossible. Combining regular exercise building your chest muscles, massage and folk remedies.
Step 1
Train the chest muscles at least two to three times per week. If you are exercising at home without gym equipment, simply performing pushups will tighten the pectoral muscles that lie underneath the breasts. To perform a pushup, come to your hands and knees. Your hands should be placed underneath your shoulders and your knees should be placed under your hips. Bend your elbows and lower yourself down to towards the floor, hovering one to two inches above the floor. Lift yourself back up again by pressing your hands into the floor and straightening your arms. Repeat this process until your arms are fatigued.
Step 2
Massage your breasts regularly. Using skin-nourishing oils, such as almond or olive oil, massage the tissues of the breasts. Massage helps improve the overall skin tone and texture and can help give your breasts a firmer, perkier appearance.
Step 3
Ice your breasts to constrict the blood flow to the breasts and develop tone. Hold one to two ice cubes and massage your breasts. Massage the breasts for about a minute.
Step 4
Wear sunscreen on your chest whenever you are out in the sun wearing a low-cut top or bathing suit. The sun can greatly reduce the skin's elasticity and is one of the leading causes of loose and sagging skin. Use a sunblock with a SPF factor of at least 15.
