The BodyCraft total gym incorporates an adjustable glideboard with a cable/roller system. The board travels on a pair of glide rails that attach to foot roller assembly at the lower end and a height adjustment bar at the upper end. Typically, you disassemble the total gym to move it within your home or when transporting it from one location to another. Organizing the pins, bolts and rollers in a small container saves time when it's time to reassemble the BodyCraft total gym.
Step 1
Pull the pins on the right and left roller brackets at the height adjustment bar by hand. Remove the rollers from the brackets and allow the cables and handles to rest on the floor.
Step 2
Pull the pins at the rail brackets at the underside of the bench by hand. Remove the rollers from the rail brackets to free the cables. Coil each of the cables with the handles intact, or unclip the handles from the cables.
Step 3
Loosen and remove the bolts where the upper ends of each glide rail attach to the height adjustment bar with a metric Allen wrench. Slide the rails and glide bench away from the upright. Rest the rails and bench on the floor.
Step 4
Pull the height-adjustment pin on the adjustment bar by hand. Slide the bar to the top of the vertical adjustment column and lift it off.
Step 5
Loosen and remove the bolts at the base of the vertical adjustment column with a metric Allen wrench. Remove the upright from the stabilizer bar.
Step 6
Turn the glideboard and the attached foot roller assembly over so the glide rails are facing up. Remove the bolts that attach the roller assembly at the end of the rails with the Allen wrench. Pull the foot roller assembly off the end of the glide rails by hand.
Step 7
Stand the glideboard on its end with the glide rails pointing up. Pull out the knob handle at the spring-loaded pin on the left glide rail at the upper end of the glideboard. Fold the upper ends of the rails against the underside of the glideboard.
Step 8
Remove the remaining bolts and brackets at each end of the height-adjustment bar. Remove the bolts that attach the roller assembly to the lower stabilizer arm. Detach the assembly from the arm. Remove the bolts at each roller and remove the rollers.
