How to Reset the Omron Aerobic Pedometer

The Omron Aerobic pedometer, model HJ-151, counts your steps, calculates the distance you’ve traveled and stores your information for up to seven days. The pedometer includes a clock; it resets your steps every night at midnight and stores the previous day’s data in memory. If you want to reset all the data in your Omron Aerobic pedometer, you use the system reset button, located on the back of the unit.

Step 1

Set your Omron pedometer face down with the “Memo” button at the top of the device.

Step 2

Locate the system reset button. It is on the bottom-left of the device, next to the battery door.

Step 3

Use a toothpick, pen or other object to press the system reset button.

Tips and Warnings

  • There are two buttons on the back of the pedometer. The button near the top of the device is the “Set” button, which you use to set the time and your personal information.
  • Resetting your Omron Aerobic pedometer clears all data and personal information.
