Although fried clams contain omega-3 fatty acids, they also contain unhealthy fats. A 3-ounce serving of fried clams contain over 2 grams of saturated fat and 172 calories. Eating fried clams as an occasional treat can be an acceptable part of your diet, but relying on them as your sole source of omega-3 fatty acids is bad for your health.
