Nutritional Facts for Trader Joe's Low-Fat Cheese

The Trader Joe's grocery chain carries a wide range of self-labeled food products. Trader Joe's offers two types of light string cheese: regular and organic. The nutritional values are the same for both products. Each one-piece serving contains 60 calories (22.5 of which are from fat) and 6 grams of protein. There are 2.5 grams of fat in either variety of cheese, which includes 1.5 grams of saturated fat. Each stick of cheese has 15 mg of cholesterol, 180 mg of sodium and 1 gram of carbohydrates. When it comes to the two varieties of Trader Joe's Light String Cheese, 44.6 percent of the calories come from fat, 7.9 percent come from carbohydrates and 47.5 percent come from protein.

Low-Fat Muenster

The low-fat muenster cheese at Trader Joe's is sold sliced. Each one-slice serving has 80 calories (45 of which are from fat) and 8 grams of protein. There are 5 grams of fat in this cheese, but none of it is saturated. It contains no cholesterol or sodium. Each slice has 5 grams of carbohydrates. 46.4 percent of the calories in a slice of low-fat muenster cheese come from fat, while 20.6 percent come from carbohydrates and 33 percent come from protein.

Light Cream Cheese

Each two-tablespoon serving of Trader Joe's Light Cream Cheese contains 70 calories, and 45 of those calories come from fat. There are 5 grams of fat per serving, including 3 grams of saturated fat. Their cream cheese also contains 15 mg of cholesterol, 95 mg of sodium, 2 grams of carbs (in the form of sugar) and 4 grams of protein per serving. 65.2 percent of the calories in a serving of Light Cream Cheese come from fat. 11.6 percent of the calories come from carbohydrates and 23.2 percent come from protein.

Lite Shredded Mozzarella

It also contains 5 mg of cholesterol, 380 mg of sodium and 4 grams of carbohydrates (all from sugar). 20 percent of the calories in this serving come from fat, while 17.8 percent come from carbohydrates and 62.2 percent come from protein.
