Olay Regenerist is a line of anti-aging skin care products created by the company Oil of Olay and manufactured by Proctor and Gamble. The products focus on hydrating the skin and regenerating new skin cells to create a more youthful appearance. Regenerist products are fairly inexpensive, easy to find and are favored by many women.
What Regenerist Does
According to the Oil of Olay company, Regenerist products work to actually renew skin cells deep down at the cellular level. They all contain an amino-peptide complex and B vitamins which can decrease wrinkles, fine lines and discoloration over long term use, and help to give a more youthful look to the skin (see Reference 1). Many of the products, such as the daily UV defense cream, also protect the skin against future damage, such as wrinkles caused by the sun.
Five Stars
Beauty Insiders, a website which reviews and rates beauty products rated Olay Regenerist products with five out of five stars (see Reference 2). Their rating was based on price, ingredients, ease of use and effectiveness of the products. They also found that most independent third-party reviewers also rated Olay Regenerist products with very high ratings.
Where to Buy
Beauty Insiders states that Olay Regenerist products are readily available at most grocery stores, drug stores and large retailers like Walmart and Target, throughout the United States (see Reference 2). Even though Regenerist products are a quality line of anti-aging skincare, they do not need to be purchased in department stores or specialty stores unlike many other skin care lines.
Regenerist Set
According to the Beauty Insiders, Oil of Olay's Regenerist line contains nearly 25 products (see Reference 2). Olay lists some of the most popular products as the Regenerist night recovery cream, eye serum, microdermabrasion and peel system and daily UV defense cream (see Reference 1). Though they all contain similar ingredients, the products in the set each have a unique, special purpose, and they are designed to work best when used together.
Cost
According to the website called Beauty Insiders, each item in the Olay Regenerist product line sells for just under $20 (see Reference 2). Compared to many department store anti-aging skin care products, Olay Regenerist products are generally less expensive. Purchasing the whole product line could add up since there are so many products though most women only choose to buy a few.
