How to Grow Hair Long Fast

The average person has 100,000 hairs on the head and loses about 100 strands per day. Hair is a fascinating part of the body, revealing many characteristics and lifestyle choices about a person, ranging from ethnicity to current health. Natural ways to grow hair long and fast include simple techniques and inexpensive items that are more than likely already in your kitchen.

Step 1

Take a multivitamin every day to ensure you are taking in the adequate amount of iron. Iron deficiency leads to hair loss, but iron supplements taken alone can upset the stomach. A multivitamin also contains vitamin C which helps the body absorb iron.

Step 2

Drink at least 64 oz. of water a day. This flushes out harmful toxins and chemicals that can build up in the system and prohibit hair growth.

Step 3

Massage the scalp for five minutes in the shower while you shampoo. This stimulates circulation in the scalp and encourages hair growth.

Step 4

Use an apple cider vinegar hair rinse two to three times a week to keep hair follicles clear of clogging dead skin cells and to promote balanced pH levels in the scalp. Pour a mixture of 1 cup of apple cider vinegar and 1 cup of water over the hair in the shower before shampooing. Allow the rinse to soak into the hair and scalp for three to five minutes before conducting your usual washing routine.

Step 5

Make a raw egg mask by applying a raw egg to the hair and scalp. Cover with a shower cap for 45 minutes. Wash out using cool water (to not cook the egg). Eggs contain natural oils and proteins that foster healthy hair growth.

Tips and Warnings

  • Brush hair gently before bed, in the morning and after a shower. A wide tooth comb is best to use when hair is wet. These times of day help keep hair tangle-free and prevent breakage.
  • Take care not to get apple cider vinegar hair rinse in the eyes.
