Commercial deodorants normally have chemicals such as aluminum in them, which can harm your skin over time. However, deodorants are needed in order to eliminate body odor from the sweat you secrete. Luckily, you do not have to use a commercial product to meet your bodily needs. You can make your own natural deodorant from things you can buy at the store.
Step 1
Add 1 cup of raw almonds, a half cup of aloe vera gel and a half cup of cornstarch into a blender. Puree the mixture for about four minutes until it turns into a thick paste.
Step 2
Transfer the mixture in a large clean bowl. Add 1 to 2 cups of cornstarch to the mixture and stir for about 15 minutes until clumps form.
Step 3
Take small clumps of the mixture and form marble-size balls in your hands. Transfer the almond-starch balls into a large clean jar and put in the fridge. This makes it easier to access and less messy to apply. This natural deodorant will last three to four months in room temperature and up to a year in the fridge.
Step 4
Rub the almond-starch balls under your arms or anywhere on your body. Use as many starch balls as you want. These are easy to apply and are mess free.
