The Best Natural Way of Getting Rid of Wrinkles on the Face

Skin ages indefinitely, but the rate at which it ages is controllable. Premature skin aging from the sun and other free radicals in the environment causes skin to lose its elasticity making it become thin and wrinkled. Taking precautions to fight free radicals as well as to keep the body hydrated from the inside out is the best natural way of getting rid of wrinkles on the face.

The Best Natural Way of Getting Rid of Wrinkles on the Face

Step 1

Cleanse the skin with a milk and honey cleanser. Honey is a natural humectant which means it attracts and locks in needed moisture lost by mature skin. Milk contains lactic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid that exfoliates skin and prevents wrinkles.

Step 2

Combine 1/2 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of whole milk and massage into the skin. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

Step 3

Follow the milk and honey cleanser with a sugar scrub. Sugar contains glycolic acid which is another alpha hydroxy acid that goes deep within the skin to repair damage before it reaches skins' surface. The sugar will also remove dead skin cells for a brighter more youthful appearance.

Step 4

Take 1 teaspoon of sugar and gently massage into the skin in circular motions. This will increase circulation in the skin to promote new cell growth. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Step 5

Make an intense night wrinkle treatment by mixing 1/4 teaspoon of pure vitamin E oil and 1/4 teaspoon of olive oil and apply it to the face and neck. Vitamin E oil is an antioxidant that repairs and blocks free radical damage that causes wrinkles while olive oil makes skin more permeable for a plump and wrinkle-free appearance.

Tips and Warnings

  • Use extra virgin olive oil for the intensive night treatment. Extra virgin olive oil is the most pure and has been processed the least. When buying vitamin E oil, make sure it has not been cut with other oils that will dilute its benefits. If you cannot find a bottle of pure vitamin E oil, simply puncture a vitamin E capsule.
  • Stay out of the sun and/or always wear a high SPF when outdoors.
