Orinase Side Effects

Orinase (tolbutamide) is a medication used to treat type II diabetes. According to MedlinePlus, Orinase reduces your blood sugar by prompting the pancreas to secrete insulin, a natural hormone in your body that regulates blood sugar levels. According to the National Library of Medicine, there is no set dose for Orinase treatment as it is dependent on your blood sugar levels.
