Although human studies have not yet taken place, researchers found that arthritis symptoms decreased in lab mice after consuming green tea on a regular basis. For green tea to effectively work, you'll need to drink more than a cup of day. For best results, try to drink green tea at every meal as many as three or four cups daily.
2. Change Up Your Fats
Studies show that certain types of fat worsen arthritis pain by causing increased inflammation. Foods that are high in Omega-6 fatty acids cause this response and should be eliminated from your diet. Many meat products, like red meat, turkey and chicken, contain a high amount of Omega-6 fatty acids. When you replace these foods with entrees high in Omega-3 fatty acids, you'll experience a decrease in arthritis pain and stiffness. To get Omega-3 fatty acids, incorporate more fish into your diet. Fish from cold water sources, like trout and salmon, contain a high level of Omega-3 fatty acids.
3. Maintain a Healthy Diet

On this diet, you're asked to stop eating eggplant, any variety of potatoes, peppers and tomatoes. You may not develop any detrimental effects from this diet, but you may not find arthritis pain relief either.
