Facial peels are a type of facial treatment designed to keep skin looking healthy and young. They are mostly used by women and are applied at night before bedtime. This gives the facial peel nutrients time to work while your face is still and relatively unwrinkled while you sleep. Peels also collect dirt, dust and other impurities found on your face and remove them. There are a number of different recipes for facial peels, but the most commonly used ones are those that provide nutrients to your skin and fend off the onset of wrinkles.
Step 1
Mix the egg white, milk and gelatin together in a small stove-top pot.
Step 2
Heat the pot on medium-low until it reaches a boil. Stir the ingredients constantly while they heat.
Step 3
Remove the pot from the heat and let the ingredients cool.
Step 4
Apply the mixture to your face, but keep your upper lip and eyelids clean. Let sit for 15 to 30 minutes.
Step 5
Slowly remove facial peel from your skin. Rinse your face with warm water and apply moisturizer.
