A mole may be any type of skin lesion that contains nevus cells and is formally known as a nevus. They're benign by definition, although their presence may indicate an increased risk of skin cancer. A variety of methods exist for removing a mole at home. They generally consist of applying a substance to the mole that will kill the skin cells in the mole without damaging the surrounding skin. These treatments generally require a prolonged period of time.
Step 1
Apply petroleum jelly to the skin surrounding the mole. Ensure you don't get any petroleum jelly on the mole, as this will also protect the mole.
Step 2
Extract the juice from a sour apple. You can puree several chunks of apple in a blender or squeeze out the juice manually.
Step 3
Dip the cotton swap in the apple juice, and apply it to the mole without getting the juice on your unprotected skin.
Step 4
Treat the mole with apple juice three times per day for about three weeks. The acid in the apple juice will gradually dissolve the mole. It should become thinner until it fades away completely.
