Hold a sidewalk chalk drawing event in your community, charging a small fee for budding artists in the community to strut their stuff. If you're into crafting, create soaps, candies or knit or crocheted caps or scarves and pocket the profits to go toward legal expenses as well.
Garage Sales
Garage sales are a perennial favorite in neighborhoods around the country. Enlist the help and donations of neighbors and friends and place fliers around town announcing a block party garage sale to raise funds for an adoption. Donate items in good condition and the bargain hunters will come.
Recycle
Many of us throw spare change into a can or container or our glove boxes. Dig out that change and redeem it for cash.
