The copora cavernosa is the medical name for the spongy, muscular tissue that makes up most of the interior of the penis. These spongy tissues are found in the form of three caverns or columns inside the length of the penis, which enable blood flow to engorge the tissues through irregularly lined spaces separated by connective tissue, leading to an erection. Men seeking to extend or increase penis size, stamina and sexual pleasure may exercise the copora cavernosa through a variety of techniques known from ancient China to the Middle East. These exercises contain a variety of stretches are effective for many men, and have been performed for hundreds of years.
Step 1
Pull the penis outward from the body in a gentle stretch. This is best facilitated after lubricating your hands with oil. The penis should be half-erect for optimal benefit. Place the hands facing down and grip the penis completely, with the thumb resting against the underside of the penis. Gently extend the penis away from the body. This exercise can be repeated between five to six times, increasing to 10 to 15 several times a week.
Step 2
Stretch the penile muscles and tissues when the penis is flaccid by holding the penis around the head with the palm of the hand and gently pulling in a forward motion. Extend this pull as far as comfortable, hold for about 15 seconds and then release. Repeat this exercise between 10 and 15 times several times a week.
Step 3
Exercise the penile muscles from deep inside the body through the use of the Kegel muscles, or the muscles that create the pelvic floor. This exercise is also known as the PC Flex. Pretend you need to hold urine inside your body. Tighten those muscles and contract for a count of three and then relax. You can do this exercise often throughout the day, slowly increasing your ability to contract the muscles and hold the contraction for longer periods of time, gradually increasing to about 20 to 30 for each session.
