Minocycline, marketed under the brand name Minocin, is an antibiotic used to treat infections caused by drug-resistant bacteria. The medication may cause a fever or stomach upset. According to Drugs.com, there are no reports of minocycline causing depression as an adverse reaction as of January 2010.
