Does Polycystic Ovarian Disease Cause Diabetes?

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder that affects women. The cause of the condition is not known. Complications associated with the syndrome may occur without proper diagnosis and treatment. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, one complication from PCOS is Type 2 diabetes.
