Cellulite Tools

According to The Mayo Clinic, cellulite is a common problem in women. Located in the hips, thighs or buttocks, this unsightly fat looks dimpled or bumpy. It's not a threat to your health, but many people seek to remove it for cosmetic reasons.

Cellulite Creams

According to CelluliteTreatment.org, cellulite creams work to smooth the skin around cellulite and help to reduce the appearance of this fat and help to break it up over time. CelluliteTreatment.org advises against creams that advertise quick results. Over time, these products may help to reduce the appearance of cellulite, but none of them are a miracle cure.

Diode Lasers

The Mayo Clinic points out that diode laser energy, when combined with massage to the affected areas, can help improve the appearance of cellulite. These laser treatments have to be administered three times a week for a few weeks to have the desired effects. After a treatment program, the appearance of cellulite may be improved for up to six months.

Radiofrequency Systems

Like lasers, the application of radiofrequencies along with massage and infrared light can help reduce the appearance of cellulite for up to six months. The process is applied by a trained professional three times a week to get rid of the unwanted fat.

Mesotherapy Solution

The Mayo Clinic states that mesotherapy solution, when injected under the skin, can aid in reducing the appearance of cellulite. This solution contains a combination of hormones, enzymes and vitamins that claims to get rid of cellulite. Be careful if you seek this treatment, as it can result in side effects like rashes and bumpy skin.
