The Frolov breathing technique involves using a portable device called the Frolov's Respiratory Training Device to do breathing exercises to help fight and prevent disease, according to Orgoneproducts.org. it is designed to help with chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pulmonary emphysema, myocardial ischemia and arthrosclerosis. Frolov's Respiration Training Device was developed so that you can train your own respiration. This breathing technique improves blood flow and normalizes blood flow, metabolism and strengthens respiratory muscles.
Step 1
Pour clean water into the Frolov Respiration Training Device's stimulator inhaler. Add the amount of water according to the device label for your health condition. For example, if you are a healthy adult under the age of 60, add 18 to 20ml of water. According to Intellect Breathing, water provides the resistance to both inhalation and exhalation, which helps to strengthen respiratory muscles and increase endurance.
Step 2
Sit or lay in a comfortable position where you can breathe easily, such as in an armchair, sitting at a table or laying on your side. Hold the Frolov Respiration Training Device upright and bend the tube, if needed, to reach your mouth.
Step 3
Place your mouth over the mouthpiece of the training device, making sure not to hold it with your teeth. Inhale and exhale through your mouth. Your breathing creates a bubbling sound in the water of the training device.
Step 4
Inhale for two to three seconds and exhale for five to 10 seconds. Use a stopwatch to keep breathing consistent. Breathe in a slow, consistent manner without straining or forcing inhalation or exhalation. Do this for five to 10 minutes a day, preferably in the evenings, two or three hours after eating dinner.
Step 5
Increase the amount of water you add to the Frolov Respiration Training Device up to 1ml per day. Keep the length of inhalation of two to three seconds the same while training, but work on increasing exhalation time and gradually increase this by one second every two to three days to eventually reach 30 to 40 second exhalation. Gradually increase training session times by one minute every two to three days.
Step 6
Stop increasing water volume if the increase causes shortness in breath or discomfort. If you become tired or fatigued because of the training, go back down to the previous training time and retry the increased time again a few days later.
