Gatorade G2 Information

Gatorade is the brand name for a line of sports drinks made by the Quaker Oats Company, which is a division of Pepsico. They're intended to replenish the carbohydrates and electrolytes that are lost during exercise. Gatorade 2 (G2) is a specific type of Gatorade drink that has fewer calories than the regular Gatorade drinks.

Preparation

G2 is essentially a mixture of water and high fructose corn syrup. It also has salt, sodium citrate, citric acid and monopotassium phosphate, which serve as electrolytes. G2 also contains the appropriate flavorings for each type of fruit flavor. G2 is available in grape, orange, strawberry kiwi, lemon-lime, fruit punch and blueberry-pomegranate.
