Breast size can be a cause of concern for some women, especially if their bra resembles the one they wore when they were 12. Larger breasts have been coveted by women who are not as endowed as society seems to think women should be. Surgical procedures have become part of the norm to remedy this particular problem; however, costs and recovery time factored in with risks and complications may not appeal to some smaller chested women. Breast size can be increased at home through natural methods, although results vary from person to person.
Step 1
Exercise your pectoral muscles. Push ups, bench press and fly's are ideal exercises that strengthen and bulk the breast's underlying muscles. These muscles act as a support system for the breasts, which are made up of fat deposits. Strengthening these muscles will lift breasts and increase size when done on a regular basis such as two to three times weekly.
Step 2
Take a daily supplement for breast enhancement containing fenugreek, saw palmetto, fennel or wild yam. These herbs increase estrogen levels in the body, causing breasts to enlarge through compounds called phytoestrogens. These compounds are plant estrogens that act like human estrogen when introduced into the body. Estrogen rise in puberty and pregnancy is responsible for breast growth.
Step 3
Eat foods rich in phytoestrogens such as chickpeas, soy, apples, rye, lentils and lima beans. This is an ideal way to increase estrogen levels without using supplements. Though plant estrogen supplements are deemed a safe alternative method, consumption through daily diet is still a preferred natural method by most women.
Step 4
Wear a supporting bra daily and maintain correct posture. This will decrease sagging and help promote proper skin and muscle support of the breasts, thus increasing size slowly. Used in conjunction with diet and exercise, posture and proper breast support will help the skin to memorize shape and size when breast location is corrected.
