As you age, your facial skin starts losing its elasticity. Fine lines, wrinkles and saggy skin start to show as you approach middle age. There are innumerable remedies to combat aging and sagging skin such as chemical ointments, botox and surgical face lift, which is the quickest way to bring back youthfulness. These treatments, however, can cause scarring and other skin irritations. However, there are non-surgical, natural ways to getting a facelift that are much safer than artificial treatments. Facial exercises are one way of achieving a non-surgical facelift. Fortunately, there are several facial exercises you can do that can help you get a natural facelift.

Step 1

Tone your eye muscles by placing two of your fingers on each side of your head, at the temple. Gently press down with your fingers while closing and opening your eyes quickly. Repeat the exercise six times.

Step 2

Tone your forehead muscles. Sit up straight on a chair and face forward. Bring your eyebrows down over your eyes. Crunch your nose as far up as you can while flaring your nostrils. Hold for a count of 15, relax and repeat 10 times.

Step 3

Exercise the muscles of your lips. Sit up straight and face forward while keeping your teeth together and your lips tightly closed. Smile as wide as you can, without opening your lips, hold for 10 counts and, when relaxing, start puckering your lips as if you where giving a kiss. Hold for five counts, relax and repeat 10 times.

Step 4

Exercise the muscles of your cheeks. Close your mouth and blow air to your right cheek until it puffs up and keep it there for 10 seconds, then move it to your left cheek, hold for an 10 seconds. Move the air to your lower lip and hold for a count of 10 and move it under your top lip and hold for another 10 seconds. Repeat six times.

Step 5

Exercise the muscles of your neck and throat. Lie flat on your bed (back is flat) and hang your head over the edge of the bed with a loose jaw. With your head still in a hanging position, slowly close your mouth. You will feel your neck muscles stretch. Open your mouth and repeat 10 times.
