The science behind the Hacker's diet is based upon the understanding of how the body operates on a more scientific level, but explained in a way that you can grasp and understand from an easy electronic overview. From this diet you learn how the factor of exercise and calorie counting work to calculate your overall energy expenditure and intake. As well as, how cutting back on your calorie intake, or increasing your exercise can aid in losing weight. The main concept that is threaded throughout this diet is that in order to lose weight you either need to consume fewer calories than you actually expend through exercise or expend more calories through exercise than you consume on a daily basis. All in all, to lose weight it is necessary to consistently monitor food intake, exercise expenditure, and make appropriate adjustments as needed in order to reach your desired goals.

1. Know How The Body Operates
2. Decrease Calorie Consumption
3. Increase Calorie Expenditure Through Exercise
