In order to loose weight you have to burn more calories than you take in. This is done by exercising regularly and eating low-calorie foods. Many personal trainers and fitness gurus are already eating fat burning foods and spices to help with their fitness goals. Now you can benefit from these home remedies too.

Work Out and Eat Early

Start your day off on the right foot. Work out in the morning to burn more calories throughout the day. Eat breakfast to boost your metabolism, which was resting overnight. Foods that are high in fiber will aid in burning fat. Oatmeal is a good choice because it is a rich source of fiber and takes a while to digest. This maximizes your fat burning efforts by lowering your insulin level. A low insulin level prevents your body from storing fat.

Drink Fat-Burning Beverages

Drink green tea. It contains properties that aid in fat burning. A study published in the "American Journal of Clinical Nutrition" showed that when participants drank three cups of green tea daily, they burned more fat than those who didn't. Also, your metabolism increases if you drink 2 to 3 liters of cold water a day because your body has to work to warm the water and digest it.

Eat Fat-Burning Foods

Eat foods rich in Vitamin C, such as limes, lemons, oranges and grapefruits, which act as fat burners.
Studies show that dairy products aid in burning fat. The University of Tennessee found that dieters who consumed three servings milk, cheese and yogurt daily lost more than those who didn't.
Make sure to get your daily dose of protein. If you eat more protein, your body will have to work harder to digest it, and your metabolism will speed up in order to do this. All fish, chicken breast and egg whites are good protein choices. Salmon is a good choice as well because it contains omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids lower hormone leptin levels, which burn even more fat.

Herbs and Spices

Dandelion herbs help your body break down carbohydrates faster. They can also regulate your blood sugar, which will help control your appetite. Garlic juice aids in burning fat. Cayenne pepper stimulates the metabolism and speeds up the digestion process.
