Program Description
Social networks, family networks and business networks are a part of everyday life. All of the relationships within these networks depend on communication. Since communication is both verbal and non-verbal, it's very important to communicate clearly. Communicating clearly is especially important when a relationship has been broken and needs rebuilding.
Actions
1. Set aside a time when both of you can be relaxed and talk privately.
2. Face the other person directly.
3. Keep your questions and answers short but not terse.
4. Maintain eye contact in a natural, non-threatening way.
5. Focus on saying "I" rather than "you."
6. Ask for clarification if you don't understand a question or an answer.
7. Rephrase the question or answer to make sure you understand.
