If you have shaved, tweezed or waxed your eyebrows and are not pleased with the appearance, you probably want to find ways to make the eyebrow hair grow back as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you can use an eyebrow pencil to camouflage the appearance of sparse eyebrows. If you have experienced unexpected hair loss in the eyebrow area, consult your physician. It could be a side effect caused by a medical condition or prescription drug usage.

Step 1

Massage the eyebrows daily with a small amount of oil. This can help stimulate blood flow to the area and help the eyebrows grow back quicker. You can use mineral oil or olive oil during the massage. Apply gentle pressure using your fingertips for several minutes.

Step 2

Take a hair growth supplement to get your eyebrows to grow back. An over-the-counter skin, hair and nails supplement will contain iron, protein, vitamin E, vitamin C, vitamin A and other nutrients to stimulate hair growth.

Step 3

Use an eyebrow growth topical treatment. One example of a product to try is LiBrow. The topical solution is applied directly to the eyebrows to grow hair back thicker in six to eight weeks.

Step 4

Consider a minoxidil-based hair growth treatment. Minoxidil is found in over-the-counter hair loss treatment products like Rogaine. When the solution is applied, it opens up the hair follicles to help growth occur. Minoxidil can be applied not only to the scalp to stimulate hair growth. Apply the solution twice a day to the eyebrows after you have washed and dried the area.

Step 5

Get plenty of rest and keep stress at bay. Stress and insufficient sleep can affect the rate of eyebrow growth. Aim for at least seven to eight hours of sleep each night and perform relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation.

Things You'll Need

  • Mineral oil
  • Hair growth supplement
  • Minoxidil topical solution
