Winstrol is used in humans to decrease the severity of hereditary angiodema, which causes swelling of the face, extremities, genitals, bowel well and throat, according to Drugs.com. Make sure to discuss the dosage with your doctor and follow specific injection guidelines.

Step 1

Wash your hands before handling the vial or syringe. Use gloves if administering to another person.

Step 2

Shake the vial to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Step 3

Fill the syringe with the recommended dose given to you by your doctor.

Step 4

Re-cover the syringe and place to the side. Be sure not to let the needle become contaminated by allowing it to touch a foreign object.

Step 5

Identify the injection site, which should be the upper-outer portion of the thigh, the upper gluteus or the upper-outer shoulder area. Clean the site with an alcohol wipe and allow it to dry.

Step 6

Uncover your needle and insert it into the skin at a 90-degree angle. Inject Winstrol V into the muscle beneath the skin. Hold for three to five seconds.

Step 7

Remove the needle and dispose in an approved sharps container.

Step 8

Place a bandage on the injection site.
