How to Remove a Mole Naturally

A mole is a skin lesion known medically as a melanocytic nevus, meaning that a mole is composed of melanocytes. Melanocytes are a type of skin cell that produces melanin, a dark skin pigment. Moles are generally very dark and benign, although a large number of moles may indicate an increase in your risk for skin cancer. You can frequently remove a mole at home with natural ingredients. This procedure generally consists of applying an acidic liquid such as apple cider vinegar (ACV) to the mole.

Step 1

Obtain a bottle of ACV from almost any supermarket, health food store or pharmacy. Ensure the ACV is 100 percent pure, with no additional ingredients. ACV is an acidic substance made from apple juice. Its acidity comes primarily from acetic acid and malic acid.

Step 2

Soak the mole in warm water for at least 15 minutes. This will soften the mole and allow it to absorb the ACV more easily.

Step 3

Fill the bottle cap with ACV and soak the tip of a cotton swab with the ACV. Apply the tip of the cotton swab so the ACV is in direct contact with the mole. Ensure that you don't allow the ACV to contact the skin surrounding the mole.

Step 4

Keep the ACV on the mole for up to 15 minutes and rinse it off thoroughly. Repeat this procedure up to four times each day until the mole disappears or falls off. This shouldn't take more than a month.

Step 5

A mole can also be removed with other common substances. ACV is the most common home remedy for removing moles, but other choices include pineapple juice, garlic juice and onion juice.

You can also hold a solid piece of these plants in place for a prolonged period of time with a bandage. This has the advantage of accelerating the mole removal process. However, it's also less convenient than a liquid application.
