How to Remove Moles Naturally

Moles are a type of skin growth composed primarily of nevus cells. These skin cells are a type of melanocyte, which is a skin cell that contains melanin. Melanin is a dark pigment that gives moles their characteristic dark color. A variety of methods exist for removing moles by natural means. These typically consist of applying an acidic or other corrosive substance to the mole until it disappears or falls off.

Step 1

Select a suitable liquid with which to remove the mole. Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is one of the most popular choices. Other common remedies include pineapple juice, garlic juice and onion juice. These substances are all commonly available at grocery stores and pharmacies.

Step 2

Soak a washcloth in warm water and apply it to the mole for about 15 minutes. This will make the mole softer and allow the liquid you select in step one to penetrate the mole more easily.

Step 3

Apply petroleum jelly to the skin surrounding the mole. Ensure that you don't get any petroleum jelly on the mole itself.

Step 4

Fill a small container such as a saucer with the liquid of your choice and soak a cotton swab in it. Apply the tip of the cotton swab to the surface of the mole. Avoid getting the liquid on your unprotected skin.

Step 5

Allow the liquid to soak into the mole for a period of time that depends on the specific substance. ACV is the strongest of these substances, and you should wash it off within 15 minutes, although you can apply it up to four times each day. The juices of pineapple, onion and garlic can remain on your skin overnight. Continue this treatment each day until the mole falls off or disappears.
