How to Remove Moles From Your Skin

Moles are skin lesions that are characterized by a dark color, a well-defined border and a raised surface. They're primarily composed of nevus cells that contain a dark pigment called melanin. Moles aren't generally harmful, although a large number of moles can indicate an increased risk of skin cancer. Moles can also be unattractive, and you can remove them at home with corrosive substances such as garlic.

Step 1

Purchase pure garlic extract with no added ingredients. It's readily available from supermarkets and health food stores. Garlic extract is highly concentrated garlic juice, and is corrosive if left on your skin for a prolonged period. Ensure that the garlic extract doesn't come in contact with your skin other than the mole you're trying to remove.

Step 2

Protect the skin surrounding the mole. Cover the skin surrounding the mole with adhesive strips, while ensuring that the mole is completely exposed. Thin adhesive bandages work well.

Step 3

Soak a cotton ball in the garlic extract and hold it over the mole. Cover the cotton ball with a bandage to hold it in place over the mole. Repeat this step at least twice each day when the garlic extract dries out. Replace the cotton ball and bandage each time you apply more garlic extract.

Step 4

Repeat this procedure each day for a total of four days until the mole falls off. Replace the adhesive strips periodically when they begin to peel away from your skin. Ensure that you don't perform this procedure for more than four days in a row.
