Spend More Time with My Spouse by Tackling Household Chores Together

Program Description

Household chores can eat up a weekend, leaving too little time to reconnect with your spouse. But if you take stock of what each of you do solo and try tackling some tasks together, you'll increase your togetherness time and likely have more fun in the process.

Actions

1. Each of you list the chores you normally do alone each week.

2. From your own list, choose a few that would be easier or more fun to do together.

3. Compare lists.

4. Start by doing one from each list together the first week.

5. The person who is new to the task does it the regular way without suggesting improvements--unless the regular asks.

6. Choose another from each list for the next week.

7. Choose yet another from each list for the next week.

8. Keep trying new tasks together until you settle into a routine (and then it's probably time to repeat the process to keep things interesting).
