Avoid harsh chemicals and save money by creating your own hot oil treatments using natural products readily found in your kitchen cabinets. Different cultures use different oils for hair treatments and conditioning: Italians often use olive oil while cultures in India primarily use sesame oil. Both are believed to be remedies for damaged hair, which is dry, brittle and prone to breakage. Smooth the cuticle and shaft of individual hairs by applying the conditioning oils on a biweekly basis for optimal hair conditioning.
