Clay body wraps can provide temporary slimming and loss of inches. Wrapping the entire body warms the skin, allowing blood to rush to the skin's surface while improving circulation and flushing out impurities. Clay can also absorb fluids and temporarily compact pockets of fat under the skin. Ingredients found in clay body wraps, such as olive oil, can provide moisture for the skin according to Skin Care Resource Center. The wraps can also be made at home with a few simple ingredients.
