Success is a Process. Don't Give Up!

Time, time, time, that's the wild card. Don't throw in the towel on your goals just because you can't seem to achieve them all, right now. Trust me when I tell you. Go ahead believe me, it's true. You can have it all. Just maybe not all right now.

In the age of quick fixes and instant gratification the child in many of us seems to be throwing a tantrum, in a big fit screaming and yelling "I want what I want and I want it now!" So many of us long for fulfillment in "quick fixes" that promise to grant us instant gratification, of our every want and need. But, with each fulfillment, our "quick fixes" only seem to leave us wanting more. Hooked on what makes us feel good in the moment, unable to tolerate pain and unwilling to pay for what we want with hard work. We seem to through in the towel on achieving our fullest potential. Just give me the easier softer route. Give it to me now. Give, give, give me, more, more, more.

The truth, however, as any truly successful person knows, is that success comes at a price with any variety of set backs, and challenges aimed at helping you learn and grow. Success is also connected to your ability to adapt, change and grow in the face of adversity. A willingness to hold stead fast to your dreams, no matter what may come your way. To see "failure" as "feedback" and "set backs" as "stepping stones."

Successful people avoid defining success in all-or-nothing terms. This is because they know they are going to "fail" all the time, but unlike their counterparts, they never give up, they never give in, instead choosing to adapt, be flexible and grow with the flow. They recognize success, much like change, is a process, constantly in motion. They accept making mistakes as being perfectly imperfect and as such, enthusiastically welcome each and every opportunity to learn and grow. They understand that change is not the absence of something, but the "presents" of something new, therefore, easily let go of "the old" and welcome "the new."

But, perhaps most of all, successful people seem aware of an outcome that is guaranteed, satisfied to take baby steps as their dreams unfold with a ripple effect, one small success leading to another, happy to enjoy the process, with no worries, just having fun.

So if success is what you want, then an ability to balance it with failure and pain is what you need.

Limitations are a place to start, not stop.

Don't worry. There's nothing to fear. The outcome is guaranteed.

Sometimes quickly, sometimes, slowly.

Time is on your side.

So, go for it. Give it your best shot. Believe in yourself. And if you never give up, you will succeed. LIVE STRONG.
