If you think you might be pregnant, a home pregnancy test can give you almost instant results, even before you see your doctor. Clearblue pregnancy tests come in two forms--Clearblue Easy and Clearblue Digital--and are available at most drug stores and large convenience stores. When used properly, they are about 99 percent accurate.
Step 1
Time it right. You can use the Clearblue pregnancy test up to four days before your expected period. However, you will most likely get the most accurate results first thing in the morning, when your urine's hormone level is at its highest.
Step 2
Collect results. To take the Clearblue pregnancy test, hold the tip of the urine test strip under your urine stream for five seconds or until the tip turns pink. Or, collect urine in a specimen cup and dip the strip in the cup for five seconds, or 20 seconds if you are using the digital version of the test.
Step 3
Read the results. After two minutes or less, you should be able to read the results. If you are using the Clearblue Easy test, a plus sign will appear in the window if you are pregnant. No mark in the window indicates a negative result. If you are using the digital version of the test, the words "pregnant" or "not pregnant" will appear in the results window.
