Foods You Can't Binge Eat

Program Description
Everyone has those days when all common sense goes out the window and the Binge Monster takes over. In the past, we’ve either had to show extraordinary willpower or give in and wallow in guilt for hours or days on end. Fortunately, there’s a third option. Be prepared for the Binge Monster with a stash of foods that is okay to indulge in, and avoid those foods that pack on the pounds and the guilt.

Actions
1. Want crunchy? Avoid the chips and opt for celery with almond butter or apple slices with goat cheese.

2. Want salty? Trade dry roasted peanuts for raw cashews or tamari almonds.

3. Want chewy? Swap the caramels for dried mango or apricots.

4. Need your chocolate fix? Nix the milk chocolate for dark chocolate with a cocoa content of 65 percent or greater (usually translates to less sugar).

5. For a delightful, surprising treat, freeze grapes. You can eat them by the handful and satisfy your sweet tooth guilt free.

6. Craving ice cream? Try fat-free Greek yogurt with a handful of berries and a touch of honey for sweetness. For extra decadence, add chocolate raspberry liquid stevia.

7. Keep flavored water on hand. It will give you a hint of sweetness and fill you up at the same time.
