Program Description
Water, water everywhere…especially in your body. Did you realize that your body is nearly 2/3 water? It is the main component of all your bodily fluids, including blood, lymph and digestive juices. Plus, it plays an integral role in a variety of functions, including detoxification, good digestion, weight maintenance and even great-looking skin. And the best way to keep all of these functions working properly is to keep your body well hydrated by drinking at least 64 oz. of water a day.
Actions
1. Keep a glass of water next to your bed and drink it as soon as you wake up.
2. Add 1 or 2 drops of flavored liquid stevia to bottled mineral water for delicious water disguised as soda.
3. Keep a pitcher of fresh, filtered water in your refrigerator at all times.
4. Stash water glasses or water bottles on your desk at work and/or at home.
5. Add a splash of pomegranate juice to mineral water for an antioxidant (and flavor) boost.
6. End your meal with a steaming cup of hot tea--it counts toward your water-intake goal.
7. After brushing your teeth at night, drink a glass of water.
