It makes the stomach feel fuller, but also allows your body to use the energy over time instead of a boost here and there. Adding broccoli, apples or bananas, and feel your energy increase slow and steady all day.

Walk It Out

A lack of energy can affect more than just how you feel. A lack of energy causes the brain to function slower and metabolism to slow down. A brisk walk around the block boosts energy levels, increases metabolism, and moves oxygen and blood through the body. Instead of feeling tired, a walk gives you the energy to finish a project, prepare for a meeting or head to a child's soccer game. Just 10 minutes in the sunshine adds more to your energy levels than that cup of afternoon coffee.
