Silicone breast enhancers come in a variety of sizes and shapes. They can enhance appearance without surgery, help even out asymmetrical breasts, and act as a prosthesis after a lumpectomy or mastectomy. Enhancers that fit in front of the breasts for increased volume are available with or without a projecting "nipple" and can increase cup size by one to several cups. Others can be applied under the breasts to create a "pushed-up" appearance or can be inserted between the bra and natural breast to increase cleavage.
Increased Volume
Step 1
Choose a bra that is one or more cup sizes larger than your natural breasts so that the inserts can fit comfortably.
Step 2
Choose silicone breast enhancers that sit in front of the natural breast for increased volume. Choose whether you would like a rounded, soft appearance or if you would prefer a breast enhancer with a nipple effect.
Step 3
Stand in front of a mirror and place one breast enhancer in front of each of your natural breasts, between your skin and the inside of your bra. These enhancers have a form-fitting concave side that fits over your natural breast for added comfort and a desirable appearance.
Step 4
Adjust as necessary.
Increased Cleavage
Step 1
Choose silicone breast enhancers that sit on the outer sides of each breast for increased cleavage.
Step 2
Stand in front of a mirror.
Step 3
Place one cleavage-creating breast enhancer on the lower outer-side of each breast, between your natural breast and the inside of your bra. The curved edge should face up and fit snugly around your breast.
Step 4
Adjust as necessary for desired results.
Push Up
Step 1
Choose silicone breast enhancers that fit under the natural curve of your breasts for a push-up effect.
Step 2
Place one push-up breast enhancer below the natural curve of each of your breasts, between your skin and the inside of your bra.
Step 3
Adjust as necessary for desired results.
