New tracking features for The Daily Plate on LIVESTRONG

Last night, we launched a brand new feature exclusively for The Daily Plate on LIVESTRONG.COM. The new feature was a popular member request, and we’re thrilled to announce it to you today:

You can now track foods on MyPlate by time (6:00pm), instead of just by our approximate mealtimes (Dinner). You can choose the hour during which you ate a given food, and we’ll chart it for you accordingly.

Our “old” mealtimes are still available, since many users prefer that approach. But if you’ve always wanted to be more specific about just when you ate something, now you can finally track it that way!

Take a look, and please let us know what you think…

I like it. It works for most things… I tend to have a soda or coffee in the morning and depending what it is it can last me between a half hour or all day though so for those neither way works but I just put when I start it *shrug* for example i started a can of dr pepper at about 9 am and here it is 1 pm and the can still isn’t empty. I do like that I can do the time though because sometimes its nice to know when you eat the most or how long it is between ‘meals’ or what not… tracking your metabolic cycle i guess would be the best way to put it.

But I would also like to say that I have noticed since I started at TDP I take longer to drink things like soda but I drink water and tea and such faster so I have been drinking more of what’s good for me and less of what isn’t.

    Thanks!
