The missing search bar returns to MyPlate!
Last week, many of you got confused when we removed the search bar from MyPlate. (You can always search The Daily Plate and the rest of the site using the big search bar at the top of the site.)
But we heard you, and we’ve returned the in-line search box on MyPlate to its place of glory. Enjoy!

Thank you. It’s much better having the search bar closer to the day’s tracking.

Yuck - the new layout with no search bar in the middle of the page (and therefore no advertising) was WAY better…

Thanks for moving the search bar back - it was annoying to have to scroll up to the top to search for new foods. (PS to David - there was still advertising in the middle of the page even when the search bar wasn’t there, at least on my browsers. Now that the search bar is back, there is actually less advertising in the middle of the page…)

David — the popular opinion doesn’t agree with you I’m afraid. We got literally hundreds of emails begging us to put the search bar back.
Kristen, Reba — thanks for the kind words!

The advertising was gone for me. I suppose I can just use GreaseMonkey to get rid of the search box for me…
