25 Healthiest Celebrities and Athletes on Instagram

By RACHEL GRICE

We used to have to rely on the ever-questionable methods of the paparazzi to catch celebrities hurriedly leaving the gym after an intense workout or sipping fresh-pressed kale-apple-ginger juice while running errands.

But with so many celebs on Instagram, we can stalk their healthy habits without the guilt. (Hey, if they're posting on social media, they clearly want us to see those pictures, right?)

From sweaty post-dance-class selfies to snaps of backyard garden produce, here are some of the most #fitspirational celebrities and athletes on Instagram and what you can learn from their healthy habits.

Nicole Scherzinger

The former Pussycat Doll proves there's no faster (or more fun) way to get your heart pumping than an upbeat dance class with your posse. What better way to combine fun and fitness than with a Zumba or hip-hop class?

Lebron James

Lebron James

"King" James certainly knows how to inspire and motivate with hashtags like #StriveForGreatness. Even if you can't be as great as the king, this courtside shot makes you want to try. Here’s a workout that can help you get ripped like a pro: How to Get Ripped Like Pro Basketball Players

Gisele Bundchen

The gorgeous supermodel and mom gains a different perspective on life while practicing headstands on the beach. But you don't have to travel to exotic locales to inspire your inner yogi -- you can start now!

Kris Humphries

Even professional basketball players need someone to encourage and motivate them to keep at it. As Humphries' selfie shows, workouts are better with a buddy!

Kellan Lutz

Beautiful setting? Check. Miles of trails? Check. Fresh mountain air and sunshine? Check. Lutz clearly knows how to take advantage of Yosemite's natural beauty and workout opportunities.

Chris Pratt

He swapped beers for bench presses, but the proof is in the picture! When Pratt bulked up for his role in Guardians of the Galaxy, he proved that all you need to build strength and performance is a plan and some determination.

Brooke Burke

Being busy with her career and raising four kids doesn't stop Burke from staying healthy on the go. She's RAWkin' the juice trend, and you can too.

Jason Momoa

Jason Momoa

It seems fitting that the Game of Thrones actor prefers a rugged, primal workout like rock climbing. Whether you're hitting up an indoor rock climbing facility like Momoa or exploring the great outdoors, you can benefit from conditioning exercises to get you in shape beforehand.

Jessica Alba

Not all of us can look as radiant as Alba after a hot yoga session, but that's where Instagram filters come in handy. Follow her tips on how to take a better selfie to track your fitness progress.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson

The Rock

You're bound to run into bodybuilding legends like Jay Cutler when you're training at "The Mecca" (Gold's Gym in Venice, California). And if you're The Rock, then you have to stop and Instagram the moment! A great reminder to learn from the best.

Bob Harper

Bob Harper

"The Biggest Loser" trainer and CrossFit coach never seems to take a day off -- even on his birthday! It's guaranteed his workout involved one of these essential CrossFit moves.

Allyson Felix

If a sprinter like Felix takes time off from running to cross-train, don't you think you should too? After you master chin-ups (see above for serious inspiration), challenge yourself with the toughest do-anywhere moves.

Hugh Jackman

Hugh Jackman

Living the fit life doesn't have to mean hitting the gym 24/7. This Aussie actor recommends taking to the streets or your local bike path to get fit while enjoying your city. But make sure you warm up first.

Maria Menounos

Veggies straight from the garden? Yes, please! Menounos shows off her colorful haul while promoting her new cookbook. Don't have a garden of your own or cursed with a black thumb? Head to your local farmers market instead.

Bar Refaeli

If this Instagram of the Israeli model illustrates anything, it's that you're only one workout away from a good mood. Plus, happiness makes you healthy.

Lea Michele

Lea Michele

This star found her post-workout, triple-threat drink: organic raw probiotic kombucha. For those wary of anything beet-flavored, try kefir or probiotic yogurt.

Vanessa Hudgens

Vanessa Hudgens

Who said taking time off work has to mean taking time off from being fit? Even on vacation, Hudgens makes time for a hike through the beachside mountains. Kind of makes you want to book a fit vacation of your own, doesn't it?

Mario Lopez

Mario Lopez

Your rotator cuff isn't a thing to mess with! Good thing Lopez knows the benefit of rehab and rest. To prevent injuries in the first place, keep workouts on the lower-impact side and don't push yourself past your limit.

Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant

Durant and his "Thunder Mob" pose for weight-room photo op, while his caption says everything: "We are all a work in progress in everything!" Go hard like the basketball pro, then recover like him and his teammates.

Jamie Chung

Jamie Chung

Life is all about balance. One day, Chung is sipping organic, cold-pressed juice; the next, she's enjoying some delicious barbecue. There's definitely an art and science to those cheat meals.

Jesse Williams

Jesse Williams

Watch out! Williams is doing some #OldSchoolWork with an intense hammer workout. There's something to be said for unconventional workouts as a way of switching up your routine.

Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama

It's no secret the first lady is a huge proponent of motivating kids to be more active. And here she's leading by example just in time for the World Cup. So get your kids (and yourself) off the couch and onto the field.

Tyson Beckford

Tyson Beckford

Unlike most of us, Beckford hits the gym when he can't sleep. While his work ethic is admirable (and clearly paying off), there are always lots of other natural ways to fall asleep.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez

Stealing a page from her nana's cookbook, Gomez whips up a yummy-looking post-workout meal. A good reminder that abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow

Would you expect the founder of GOOP to cook anything less than this amazing egg-topped quesadilla? Paltrow posted the image of the drool-worthy dish in support of Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. And now that you're hungry, you'll want to check out more delicious egg recipes.
