Week 4 P90X. Still going strong – well stronger actually! I am having a blast. This is our recovery week, meaning we get a different workout than the past 3 weeks. I absolutely know I am stronger, leaner and my balance is exponentially better than it was. My favorite workouts are usually upper body – shoulders especially. I have a new love now, Kenpo.
Kenpo is “a high-intensity cardiovascular workout packed with lots of punching and kicking combinations to improve balance, endurance, flexibility, and coordination”. I will be honest week 1, oh man, I was a mess. Arms flailing, kicks all over the place, jabs when they should have been crosses, it was not pretty. Fast forward to week 4 - I’ve got it down and Kenpo is my new favorite workout. My upper cuts and back kicks are on fire. Don’t even get me started on my Claw Hammer.
